So next Sunday, February 18th after church (around 12:30pm) we will be heading over to Brad and Adam's place in the Meadow Wood townhouse complex off of Clearbrook Rd (right by CBC) for a potluck lunch. More details in terms of their address and what you need to bring will come soon, but let us know you're coming by leaving a comment saying, "hey, I'm coming", and of course, leave your name. Or, you can just email me and let me know. Invite your friends and leave comments or drop me an email telling us they're coming. Oh ya, and we won't be doing the CAYR Coffee House that night...we're doing this instead.
Peace out,
Graham
Welcome to CAYR!
CAYR stands for "Come As You Are" and is the Young Adults ministry at the Abbotsford Church of the Nazarene. The term, "Young Adults" includes anyone from any background that has graduated from high school and is up to 30 something (or anyone who feels like a young adult)!. We call our selves, "Come As You Are" because we want people to do just that. Whether someone is a long time Christian, a new Christian, not a Christian, interested in Christianity, not interested in Christianity, having a great day, having a terrible day (you get the picture), we want them to come be a part of community just as they are. So, we invite people to our Sunday night coffee house where we meet to engage in relationships, conversation, and the teachings of Jesus, and to our social gatherings to come just as they are.
CAYR Coffee House: Sundays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm (childcare provided) at the Abbotsford Church of the Nazarene (2390 McMillan Rd in, you guessed it, Abbotsford).

The Notes From Tonight and Remember to Tell Us About Your Blog Thoughts!
Hey everyone! I've posted the link to the notes on our reading from tonight on a new links section to the right. It's a pdf file and it should download automatically. This is what we talked about tonight, so if you missed it, or want to go over it again, go ahead, download it! This is where I will post notes for future readings.
I've also noticed a few of you have posts on your blogs related to our talks. Leave a quick comment under the reading it relates to pointing us to your blog so we can read and participate in your thoughts, or just copy and paste it as a new comment! Thanks!
Blessings,
Graham

Our Next Reading!
Our reading for Sunday, February 11th is Matthew 5:1-12, also known as the Beatitudes. Come on out for 6:30 for coffee and snacks and good company and then we'll jump into our passage together. I should be able to post a link to my notes, so if you miss tonight, you can catch up and join in the discussion on this blog or your own blog. If you have your own blog, email the link to it and I'll post it as a link on this blog.
Blessings,
Graham
